The Maccabees reveal details of ‘Marks To Prove It: 10th Anniversary Edition’

The beloved band will be capping off their joyous comeback year in style.

The Maccabees announce 10th anniversary edition of 'Marks To Prove It'; release new B-side 'Koya'

Just when we thought The Maccabees had finished treating us this year (after a summer that saw them bring a bunch of our indie faves together for an epic All Points East all-dayer), they’ve now announced that they’ll be releasing a special edition of ‘Marks To Prove It’, ten years on from the album’s original 2015 release.

Due to hit shelves on 28th November, ‘Marks To Prove It: 10th Anniversary Edition’ will expand beyond the LP’s initial 11 tracks to include eight B-sides and acoustic versions (including ‘Koya’, which is out now) and the band’s full set from Glastonbury 2015 - right down to Jamie T’s guest appearance on the title track.

“We didn’t know it would be the last album we made at the time but, with some distance, it’s the probably the closest thing to a definitive Maccabees album, with a part of all the versions of us before in it,” guitarist Felix White has said, speaking about the special new release. “It was a really committed time - where all our lives and focus was going into this music for better or for worse - and ten years on, that is really something you can hear in it.”
