The Misfits have reunited

Glenn Danzig rejoins the group for the first time in over three decades

For the first time since the group’s break-up in 1983, Glenn Danzig, the former member and founder of The Misfits, has rejoined the group.

After many disputes and lawsuits over the years with bassist Jerry Only, the group will reunite for the first time in over thirty years to play this year’s Riot Fest in Denver and Chicago in September.

Joining them on guitar will be Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, reforming most of the line-up of their classic record ‘Walk Among Us’. Performing as ‘The Original Misfits’, the reformation has been billed as “They Said It Would Never Happen”.

The group are the first to be announced for this year’s Riot Fest, with more line-up announcements expecting shortly. It’s not yet known whether The Misfits are expected to announce any further dates.
