The National and Bon Iver announced line-up for PEOPLE festival
The festival will take place in Berlin this August.
The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon have announced the line-up for their upcoming PEOPLE festival.
The festival will take place at Funkhaus in Berlin and will feature over 150 artists over the two days, including the Dessner brothers, Feist, Lambchop’s Kurt Wagner, Jónsi & Alex Somers.
Introducing the PEOPLE collective in a statement released last month, the group said: “We are a steadily growing group of artists, freely creating and sharing our work with each other and everyone. We call it PEOPLE. It was born of a wish to establish an independent and nurturing space in which to make work (generally around music) that is collaborative, spontaneous and expressive in nature and where all unnecessary distractions or obstacles that get in the way are removed.”
There’s also a PEOPLE website, featuring a huge array of music from a variety of collaborators.
