The National share ‘Sleep Well Beast’ video, announce own festival
The band will host the two-day Homecoming Festival next April in their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The National have had their part in many festivals, from curating a day of this year’s Pitchfork Paris to co-running the Sounds From A Safe Harbour in Cork, Ireland, Eaux Claires in Wisconsin with Justin Vernon, and the Haven festival in Copenhagen.
They’re now going it fully alone, announcing Homecoming Festival, a two-day event in the band’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. The event will run on 28th and 29th April 2018, with both nights promising a unique headline show from The National, and 20 acts over both days. Get all the details on Homecoming here.
Packing in the news for the day, the band have also shared a video for the title track from their recent LP ‘Sleep Well Beast’.
The clip is as skittish and unpredictable as the track itself, riffing off the album’s artwork, with flashes of each band member coming and going.
The new video follows the band’s gorgeous recent clip for ‘Dark Side Of The Gym’. Watch it below.
