Watch The Vaccines perform ‘Paranormal Romance’ live at Abbey Road
The track features on last month’s ‘Back In Love City’.
Following the release of last month’s ‘Back In Love City’, The Vaccines recorded a live orchestral version of album gem ‘Paranormal Romance’ at Abbey Road Studios for Amazon Music.
“One of our primary aims on the new record was to sound cinematic and widescreen,” Justin Young explains. “We frequently referenced composers like John Barry, Bruno Nicolai and Ennio Morricone, and the album version of ‘Paranormal Romance’ was probably the closest that we came to paying direct homage to their work. So to be lucky enough to have the song orchestrated by Rosie (Danvers, orchestrator) and then to record it in Studio 2 at Abbey Road is what dreams are made of.”
