The Wave Pictures Announce New Single, Revised London Date
‘Little Surprise’ is to be released on April 18th on Moshi Moshi Records.

The Wave Pictures are back with a new single, ‘Little Surprise’, to be released on April 18th on Moshi Moshi Records.
Frontman Dave Tattersall said, “I wrote these lyrics in a bar in Munich, hungover, first thing in the morning. The lyrics describe a scene involving two people who work there having some kind of squabble. It’s terribly mysterious. One of them has “a little surprise up his sleeve”, but we never find out what it is”.
‘Little Surprise’ is taken from forthcoming album, ‘Beer In The Breakers’, which is to be released on 2nd May 2011.
The Wave Pictures are preparing for their Spring tour, which will include a revised London date at Scala. Previously announced as 25th May, the gig will now take place the day after, on the 26th May, instead.
