A Moon Shaped Pond
Thom Yorke performed in his neighbour’s garden this week, it was just a laugh
“Suzie’s neighbours” have got some serious connections.

Never one to miss a barbecue, Radiohead head honcho Thom Yorke popped up at a garden party in Oxford this weekend.
Like that insufferable bloke who knows all three chords to ‘Wonderwall’ and crops up Literally Everywhere, he insisted on bringing his guitar along too, whipping through renditions of ‘Desert Island Disk’, ‘No Surprises’, ‘Street Spirit’, ‘Reckoner’ and ‘I Might Be Wrong’. No footage has emerged yet, but the whole thing as confirmed by a Radiohead Reddit user, whose dad was at the party. He was awfully excited about “Tom York” turning up, as the below texts can attest to.
No word yet on who Suzie is, or how her neighbours managed to wangle this one, but it might be worth flicking through the Oxfordshire phonebook and trying to make a new mate.
There’s a photo confirming Tom York’s attendance below. Look how disinterested those old folks in the back look. Has the Radiohead bubble finally burst? Maybe they’re Spotify subscribers.
Update (13÷06÷2016, 14:33pm):
Check out some swanky new footage of Tom York playing a stripped-down version of Radiohead’s ‘Reckoner’ below. Listen to how posh everyone in the background is. Classic Oxford.
