Thundercat announces mini-album, streams ‘Them Changes’
Bass-funk extraordinare is putting out a new release next week.
FlyLo-affiliated musician Thundercat has announced plans to release a new mini-album next week.
‘The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam’ follows on from 2013’s ‘The Apocalypse’, and it’s coming out on 22nd June with just a couple of days’ warning. The record’s being led by ‘Them Changes’, showcasing the smoother side of the bassist’s intense, jazz-nodding songwriting.
The track comes produced by Flying Lotus, with Kasami Washington on saxophone and Dennis Hamm on piano. Check out the tracklist above a stream of ‘Them Changes’.
