Thundercat shares a new video for ‘Show You The Way’
The track featuring Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald comes from his album ‘Drunk’.

Earlier in the year, bass maestro Thundercat released his latest album ‘Drunk’, and ‘Show You The Way’ – a collaboration between himself, Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald – formed its centrepiece.
Now the track’s got a new video, directed by Katayzyna Sawicka and Carlos Lopez Estrada. It follows on the story of the samurai from Thundercat’s ‘Them Changes’ video. Now with no arms after that skirmish, his family send him to a retreat, where eventually he finds a form of redemption and solace. Everyone loves a happy ending!
Speaking of the video, the directors said: “We got the track from Thundercat and quickly realized that we had a unique opportunity to continue the story that we had started with ‘Them Changes.’ We ended that video on a fairly grim note but ‘Show You The Way’ offered a bright and contrasting soundtrack for a sequel of redemption”.
Thundercat is set to embark on a tour of Europe from next month, and as part of it he’ll be playing dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London. Tickets are on sale now.
