Tobias Jesso Jr. turned piano tutor at SXSW Festival

Last week at SXSW Festival, Tobias Jesso Jr. taught fans how to play tracks from his debut album ‘Goon’, at a Tumblr IRL event at Austin’s Ironwood Hall.

Stereogum reports that Jesso invited fans to take part in a series of lessons, before playing a brief six song set at the venue. The event last week follows the Canadian uploading sheet music and lessons to his Tumblr page in the build up to ‘Goon’s release. Tobias Jesso Jr. played the following:

‘Bad Words’
‘True Love’
‘Just A Dream’
‘Without You’
‘Hollywood’
