Apocalypse now
Hear Touché Amoré’s guttural new song ‘Rapture’
Their new album ‘Stage Four’ is out on Friday.
There’s just a couple of days to go until LA post-hardcore band Touché Amoré release their much-anticipated new album ‘Stage Four’ on Friday (16th September) via Epitaph. But if you just can’t wait another three days for it to land then the band have shared another cut to whet your appetite, ‘Rapture.’
Lead singer Jeremy Bolm said in a statement that while ‘Stage Four’ was heavy, it would also be their “catchiest” record to date and that he’d “never sang before, so I took a chance with that.” Well, on ‘Rapture’, Bolm does a sing a little bit towards the end, but mostly throws himself into a gut-punch of a track, all but screaming that he’d “like to go back to before” over meaty art-rock riffs.
