Islands in the stream Trudy and The Romance release new EP ‘Junkyard Jazz’
They’ve also added a new member to the band!
Trudy and The Romance have today released their new EP ‘Junkyard Jazz’. “Hopefully this record will stir up that melancholic purple in your heart and give you a big fat old grin whilst doing so,” say the band in a statement, and on first listen, it does just that.
Recorded in a former vicarage - of course - the band worked with producer David Pye (Blaenavon, Wild Beasts) on the EP.
Along with releasing a new record of crackers today - including new single ‘Junkyard Cat’ - Trudy also have a NEW MEMBER, with Alex Stephens joining the band on keys. How trudy exciting!
The band play London’s The Lexington on the 26th of January.
Have a listen to the whole EP below.
