TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe announces debut solo album ‘Thee Black Boltz’
He’s also shared his latest single, ‘Drop’.

Having shared his debut solo material at the end of last year, Tunde Adebimpe - frontman of NYC indie favourites TV On The Radio - has now confirmed that his first album under his own name, ‘Thee Black Boltz’, will be released on 18th April via Sub Pop Records.
Produced by Tunde himself alongside Wilder Zoby, Jaleel Bunton, and TVOTR’s Jahphet Landis, the record promises to be an intricate, layered exploration of human nature, as seen through Tunde’s perceptive lens.
To mark the announcement, he’s also shared new single ‘Drop’ - an introspective yet rhythmic cut that acts as a follow up to last October’s ‘Magnetic’, and which comes accompanied by a kaleidoscopic, trippy visualiser.
You can check that out and dive into our recent In The Studio interview with Tunde below.
