Twin Shadow releases statement over tour bus accident, bandmates in serious condition

Twelve were injured in a Colorado traffic incident last week.

Twin Shadow has released an official statement regarding an accident in Colarado last week, where members of George Lewis Jr.’s touring band were injured.

Dates have been postponed between 21st April and 22nd May, as band and crew recover from the incident. Two of Twin Shadow’s bandmates are in a serious condition, the statement says, while Lewis Jr. undergoes hand surgery. Read the full account below, as shared by Warner Bros. Records.

“Driving on Friday morning April 17th, Twin Shadow’s tour bus hit a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 in Aurora, Colorado. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.

There were 12 people on the tour bus consisting of band and crew. Everyone was taken to two local hospitals. At this time both driver John Crawford and Twin Shadow drummer Andy Bauer remain hospitalized, in serious condition. George Lewis Jr. AKA Twin Shadow will be undergoing reconstructive hand surgery this week.”

Twin Shadow released his ‘Eclipse’ album earlier this year.
