Twin Shadow’s tour bus involved in Colorado crash on Friday

12 people were taken to hospital following the accident on Friday morning.

Twin Shadow’s group and crew were involved in a bus crash in the morning of Friday 17th April.

A “multi-vehicle accident with multiple injuries” near Aurora, Colorado was the result of bad fog while the tour buses were en route to Denver, resulting in one bus crashing into two tractor-trailers.

According to Pitchfork, local newspaper The Denver Post reported that 12 people were transported from the site to a nearby hospital. It is believed that those with “moderate or minor injuries” are the driver and the remaining eleven are part of Twin Shadow’s crew; members of the band and George Lewis Jr. were travelling in a separate bus.

Police at the site confirmed that the bus “hit the semi-trailer as it was stopped or slowing in traffic.” Twin Shadow were on tour across North America to support the recent album ‘Eclipse’.
