Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig shares home recordings from 1989 on Beats 1 show
Frontman takes listeners back to the ‘80s.

During his most recent ‘Time Crisis’ show for Beats 1, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig took listeners through a time warp.
Channelling his inner Taylor Swift, the frontman took a trip back to 1989. He shared an excerpt of a home recording from his dad, whether Koenig and his sister Emma sang songs as children.
Listen from the 12 minute mark here to hear the home recordings.
Previous Koenig ‘Time Crisis’ shows have seen him reviewing the charts and getting Rashida Jones to tell stories.
