Vaults share ‘Mend This Love’ track from upcoming ‘Vultures’ EP
Simplistic, echoing cries of lost romance complete London trio’s debut EP.
Vaults’ slow, steady 2014 campaign is gaining momentum, the clamouring for new tracks more and more frequently rewarded in the build up to their debut EP release ‘Vultures’, with eager eyes fixed firmly on an album release next year.
‘Mend This Love’, the final track from ‘Vultures’, is a more stripped back affair than the rest of the EP with the focus even more firmly than usual on vocalist Blythe. It follows ‘Poison’, which DIY premiered earlier this month.
In typical Vaults fashion, the trembling, forceful vocals are backed by sparse, crisp percussion and subtle synth lines, albeit with less complexity than previous tracks ‘Poison’ and ‘Vultures’. It’s a song that comes backed unswervingly by immaculate production.
Next year, Vaults take to a special one-off show at London’s Village Underground. Tickets are on sale now. See all the band’s 2014/2015 dates below.
