Violet Grohl shares new single ‘Cool Buzz’
Her latest single lands ahead of her debut album’s release next month.
A few weeks on from the announcement of her debut album, Violet Grohl is back with another taste of it, this time in the form of the perfectly grungy ‘Cool Buzz’.
The track gets lifted from her forthcoming first full-length, ‘Be Sweet To Me’, which is set for release on 29th May via Auroura Records / Republic Records / Island EMI Label Group, and was recorded alongside producer Justin Raisen in Los Angeles. It follows on from her 2025 releases ‘THUM’ and ‘Applefish’, and the more recent ‘595’, which was shared around the album news.
Speaking of her latest single, Violet has said the track is about “poking fun at moral inconsistencies in punk guys who preach progressive politics, but then in their own musical spaces won’t let women have a chance.” Check it out below.
