Warpaint’s JennyLee shares new solo single ‘Newtopia’

Six years on since the release of ‘Right On!’, JennyLee (of Warpaint) is back with a new solo single, ‘Newtopia’.

Speaking on the single, she says, “‘Newtopia’ is about coming to terms with how hard I can be on myself. It’s about finding the multiple sides of yourself, the lighter and darker sides, that push us forward. It’s about me being my own best friend.”

The first taste of new solo music from the multidisciplinary artist, the accompanying artwork for each single will be an abstract painting of Jenny’s own creation.

The track also comes alongside the news of the JennyLee Singles Club, where she will be releasing a string of limited edition singles on 7 inch Vinyls that will be exclusively restricted to 1000 copies each, as well as hosting a physical singles club where fans can come together to share their favourite singles and artworks.
