Warped Tour UK set to return later this year

After taking a break last year, Warped Tour UK looks set to return to London in 2015.

Midway through 2014, the festival’s organiser Kevin Lyman admitted, in answer to a direct question on Twitter, that the November event would not be taking place that year, after being unable to pull together a line-up they were happy with. “We are taking 2014 off,” the official Twitter account wrote, “as we couldn’t get a line up together U’d [sic] be happy with. We are working on being back in Europe 2015.”

However, organisers are making good on that promise: today it’s been confirmed that Warped Tour UK will take place again this year.

Again taking to Twitter, Lyman answered another fan question (he seems to like doing that) about the future of this year’s event: to the question “Is Warped Tour UK happening this year?!” he replied “yes”. You can check out the tweets below.

Other than the fact that it will be taking place, there are no other details available about the forthcoming event.

The last edition of the festival took place at Alexandra Palace in London in November 2013, and hosted the likes of Enter Shikari, Rise Against and Billy Talent.
