Vans Warped Tour not returning to the UK this year
The festival’s founder says they “couldn’t get a line up together”.

While venues all across North America are hosting sets from the likes of Every Time I Die, Candy Hearts, Real Friends - and a surprise set from Linkin Park - it looks like US rock extravaganza, the Vans Warped Tour won’t be returning to these shores in 2014.
After founder Kevin Lyman was asked by a fan outright on Twitter, both he and the event’s official account confirmed it wasn’t.
“I’m sorry,” he said, “I was looking forward to it.”
“Afraid it’s true”, confirmed the Vans Warped Tour UK account. “We are taking 2014 off as we couldn’t get a line up together U’d [sic] be happy with. We are working on being back in Europe 2015.”
Last year saw Warped cover two days at Alexandra Palace in London featuring appearances from Rise Against, Enter Shikari, Billy Talent and more, alongside dates in Eindhoven, Bern, Berlin and Vienna elsewhere in Europe.
Meanwhile, here’s a video of Real Friends performing live at the Houston, TX leg of the US tour.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
