Watch A New Mini-Documentary About The Rise Of Future Islands

If anyone’s career has turned dramatically for the better in the past month, it’s Future Islands. As they admit in a new documentary by Yours Truly, things weren’t all that bad before. ‘We’ve been able to pay rent and make music for four and a half years,’ they explain.

But as explored in last week’s DIY Weekly cover feature, the band have experienced a sudden surge of attention. All their shows are selling out. Everyone wants to see them in the flesh after the show-stealing Letterman performance from this time last month.
