Watch: Arcane Roots Reveal ‘Habibity’ Video

Arcane Roots have unveiled their brand new video for ‘Habibity’.

The brand new track appears on their debut mini-album ‘Left Fire’, which will be released on the 11th June.

The band also were generous enough to give us the following insight into the visual snippet.

‘The video was shot at shepperton studios, directed and produced by Daryl from the band. We wanted to combine a dynamic and explosive visual as well as underpinning the real meaning of the words and the feelings behind them.’

”Habibty’ was originally a small transition between two tracks on our mini album, ‘Left Fire’. The extended version was actually written afterwards as a b-side for our ‘You Are’ single, which enabled us to write something new that still felt like part of the album. The original song (which became the chorus) perhaps seems lyrically transparent, however the message of the extended version became about the difference between intention and the difficulties of living up to that.’

Arcane Roots recently signed to Play It Again Sam Recordings and will be re-releasing their debut as a special extended edition next month. The tracklisting for it is as follows.
