Half-animated adventure gives ‘The Magic Whip’ a level up.
Blur dress up as ice creams, bugs and monsters for their new ‘Ong Ong’ video.
Half-animated, the video takes place in the midst of an adventure, Gameboy-style platform. Following the journey of a loved-up but confused smiley face, it takes on a Mario-style trip before featuring the priceless cameos of Blur’s four members.
Damon Albarn stars as Mr. Cream, Graham Coxon as Mr. Brown, Alex James as Mr. Red and Dave Rowntree as Mr. Black.
They all look absolutely ridiculous.
Watch Blur’s ‘Ong Ong’ video below. New album ‘The Magic Whip’ is out now. Blur will headline Isle of Wight festival on 13th June, before playing BST Hyde Park on 20th June.
