Watch Charli XCX bring ‘Need Ur Luv’ to Letterman debut
Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij is on piano.
Last night, after making her SNL debut over the weekend, Charli XCX played The Late Show with David Letterman for the first time.
Showcasing ‘Need Ur Luv’ from her new LP ‘SUCKER’, she was joined by Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij on a neon-lit piano.
Watch the performance below. Letterman joins at the end to hand Charli a weird, potentially offensive looking toy, which apparently he’s handing everyone throughout the show. Earlier in the night, Anna Kendrick points out that it resembles a “furry sex toy”. Very seasonal.
‘SUCKER’ is out now in the U.S. It’s released on 19th January via Atlantic in the UK.
