Watch Chvrches perform ‘Recover’ at Glastonbury
The band triumphed on the John Peel Stage.
Earlier today (or yesterday if you’re being pedantic), Chvrches took on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury - and definitively won.
The Scots electro-pop trio not only dazzled with tracks from their debut album, ‘The Bones of What You Believe’, but also took their hand to an unexpected - and unplanned - cover, as vocalist Lauren Mayberry confessed to singing Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ in the shower.

Chvrches’ next UK festival appearance comes at the (relatively) home turf of T in the Park, plus they’re headlining one of the Somerset House Summer Series dates, playing on 17th July at the central London venue.
