Watch: Coldplay Air ‘Another’s Arms’ And ‘Always In My Head’ At SXSW 2014

Last night (11th March 2014), Coldplay took to Austin, Texas’ SXSW Festival to showcase four new songs from their upcoming album ‘Ghost Stories’.

These included the Jon Hopkins-produced, Bon Iver-channelling ‘Midnight’ track, plus the sleek and minimal preview ‘Magic’. Both songs didn’t exactly show Coldplay ditching their arena standing, but there was plenty of new ideas floating around.

At South By South West, Chris Martin led his band through a selection of hits plus two previously unheard songs: ‘Another’s Arms’ and ‘Always In My Head’. Because the showcase was part of iTunes Festival’s residency in Austin, those tracks have surfaced online in shiny video form. We’re talking decent quality, not shoddy fan footage.
