Watch: Coldplay Close Day Two Of Glastonbury

If you’re going to headline a festival as big as Glastonbury, there’s no point doing it by halves.

If you’re going to headline a festival as big as Glastonbury, there’s no point doing it by halves. Certainly that’s Coldplay’s attitude, as they brought confetti, fireworks and lasers to Worthy Farm for their Saturday (June 25) bill topping set.

Arriving onstage to the theme from Back To The Future, the band played four new songs - including the one you can watch below, ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ - amongst songs from throughout their four album back catalogue.

‘Please forgive us for playing new songs,’ Chris Martin pleaded, before playing ‘Major Minus’ - taken from the band’s new EP, released today - promising one day they’d ‘be your favourites’.

Coldplay’s setlist read:

‘Hurts Like Heaven’
‘Yellow’
‘In My Place’
‘Major Minus’
‘Lost’
‘The Scientist’
‘Shiver’
‘Violet Hill’
‘God Put A Smile Upon Your Face’
‘Everything’s Not Lost’
‘Us Against The World’
‘Politik’
‘Viva La Vida’
‘Charlie Brown’
‘Life Is For Living’
‘Clocks’
‘What A Wonderful World’
‘Fix You’
‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’
