Bulgaria’s answer to MIA criticises party culture in a new video.
Bulgarian oddball pop specialist DENA has returned with a new track; the super exclusive ‘Guest List’.
A riposte on self-fulfilling party culture - ‘this is how it’s always been / this is how it is’ - the track comes alongside a video of local guests attending nights dressed all suited and booted. DENA meanwhile keeps it real by spitting rhymes on rooftops and hanging out on horse-drawn carriages.
The new single backs up the newcomer’s similarly cut-throat, sample-filled approach with ‘Thin Rope’ and ‘Playing Games’. With giddy songs fit to burst; she’s quickly making a name for herself, is DENA.
