Watch: Echo Lake Unveil New Video For ‘In Dreams’

Echo Lake have released their brand new video for ‘In Dreams’.

Taken from their debut album ‘Wild Peace’ that was released on the 25th June, the visual clip was directed by Lisa Ambjörn.

Speaking to us about their debut, frontman Thom Hill gave us the following insight: ‘We are ambitious people and we did wanted to make a statement that we’re not just some sort of studio regurgitation band or whatever. I definitely feel that there are moments no the record that suggest that we could go somewhere else with our music, given a bit more time.’

‘I tried to not make it sound it like a bedroom album, I didn’t want that at all. The early stuff we did was very lo-fi, and everything was sort of crammed in. We wanted this record to be a bit more cohesive, with different layers and what have you, and with a cleaner production sound. The best bit of not doing it in a studio was that we could do it in our own time and we could be comfortable with it. Hopefully for the next album we can record in a studio and develop the sound further. I think that’s what I’m most excited about; if and when we record our next albums is the opportunity to record in a studio and taking a totally different approach.’
