Australia’s Fan Girl share ‘backwards (everything is)’

Hailing from Melbourne, Fan Girl are sharing their brand new bop ‘backwards (everything is)’.

Giving themselves a challenge “to write what some people might see as a ‘happy’ sounding Fan Girl song, while still being a little wonky, broken and unhinged,” the group say of the track, “The punchy, sunny and erratic colours of the instrumental are contrasted with sleepy and dreamy lyrical imagery, and the lyrics thematically play with the idea of mourning a time, a place, a person, a greasy meal, a restful sleep, a feeling.”
