Watch Father John Misty cover Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’
CBC session saw FJM taking on the Canadian giants.
Following the release of his ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ album, Father John Misty has taken to a cover of Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’.
Taking to a small shed - in keeping with the theme of the original - he performed the song in a session for Canadian channel CBC. The cover spans six minutes and even includes a healthy dose of whistling.
Watch Father John Misty’s Arcade Fire cover below and catch up with the DIY interview.
Father John Misty will play Open’er (1st-4th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
