Watch Foxygen’s brilliantly lavish ‘Follow The Leader’ performance on Conan

Never ones to go quietly into the night, LA musical chameleons Foxygen brought recent single ‘Follow The Leader’ to the Conan stage last night in the only way they know how: with gusto.

Decked out like Danny Zucko from Grease with more blusher caked on than your Aunty Pat on her bingo night, singer Sam France and co-lynchpin Jonathan Rado brought with them an additional 14 musicians including a full horn section and a string quartet to bring the theatrical sounds of current album ‘Hang’ to life.

You can never accuse them of doing things by halves, that’s for sure.

Foxygen head to the UK next month to bring the full show to these shores, including a stop off at London’s KOKO at the end of the month.
