Watch Funeral For A Friend perform ‘History’ acoustic at Dr. Martens’ Edinburgh store

The band performed in-store ahead of their Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour in association with DIY date at Cabaret Voltaire.

Saturday saw Edinburgh host the first Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour 2014 in association with DIY date, in the city’s intimate cellar confines of the Cabaret Voltaire. Ahead of the gig, at which they were joined by thrashy Midlanders God Damn and newcomers Forty Four Hours, they also appeared in-store at the Scottish capital’s Dr. Martens store on Princes Street.

Read up on all the goings on at the gig over here, and watch Funeral For A Friend full-throttle on ‘Roses For The Dead’ live during the gig here.

The low-key performance saw vocalist Matthew Davies-Kreye and guitarist Kris Coombs-Roberts play a stripped-down version of a handful of songs, including ‘History’, taken from the band’s 2005 album, ‘Hours’ - which is below.

The Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour 2014 in association with DIY continues this weekend, hosting Eagulls, Mazes and Samoans at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff.
