Future Islands release ‘Born In A War’
It’s the latest lifted from their upcoming sixth studio album.
With their brand new album ‘As Long As You Are’ arriving this Friday (9th October), Future Islands are giving us the latest taste of what to expect, sharing newest track ‘Born In A War’.
Accompanied by a new animated visual created by Wayne White and his son Woodrow White, the band say, “We first met with Wayne White back in 2014 to discuss collaborating on a music video. We’ve been wanting to work with him since then. We’re stoked that we were finally able to work together on the video for ‘Born In A War’. We love the puppets he created and his unique interpretation of the song.”
Spoiling us, the group have also confirmed that from 10am EST on Wednesday 7th October, they’ll be launching ‘As Long As You Are Listening, Together’, a website offering fans the chance to hear their sixth studio album early.
This comes before their one-off global livestream on release day, ‘A Stream Of You And Me’!
