Watch Future Islands’ recent live session for BBC Radio Scotland
Baltimore band performed ‘Doves’ and ‘A Song For Our Grandfathers’.
High-flying and showing no sign of stopping, Future Islands visited the BBC Radio Scotland studios to perform live sessions of two tracks from 2014 LP ‘Singles’.
The Baltimore group ran through renditions of ‘Doves’ and ‘A Song For Our Grandfathers’, with Samuel T. Herring and co. also taking part in an interview on the show.
Filmed at Studio One at BBC Pacific Quay, the performance arrived ahead of the band’s set at Field Day Festival 2014, which takes place tomorrow (Saturday 7th June).

On 3rd July, Future Islands support Arcade Fire at London Hyde Park. They return to the UK on 20th July for Suffolk’s Latitude Festival.
