Watch: How To Destroy Angels_ Reveal ‘Ice Age’ Video

How to destroy angels_ have unveiled a brand new video in the form of ‘Ice Age’.

The clip, which was directed by John Hillcoat, tends to primarily focus on vocalist Mariqueen Maandig, with the visuals perfectly matching the lulling and ever-so-slightly mesmerising quality of the simple track itself.

The track gets taken from the band’s new EP - ‘An omen_’ - which was released on the 12th November. Watch the video below.



Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor is behind How to destroy angels_, accompanied by his wife Mariqueen Maandig along with fellow Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo composer Atticus Ross and Nine Inch Nails designer Rob Sheridan.

Speaking of the EP in a statement posted via Facebook, Reznor reveals some of the songs will also appear on a full length album set for release early next year.

‘We are making some videos,’ Reznor explains, ‘we are going to be performing live, and that’s all the details I have for now on those matters.’

Regarding our decision to sign with Columbia,’ he continues, ‘we’ve really spent a long time thinking about things and it makes sense for a lot of reasons, including a chance to work with our old friend Mark Williams. There’s a much more granular and rambling answer I could give (and likely will in an interview someplace) but it really comes down to us experimenting and trying new things to see what best serves our needs. Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.’
