Watch: Jess Glynne Shares Solo Track, ‘Home’

After her work with Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ and feature in Route 94’s ‘My Love’, British newcomer Jess Glynne has arrived with a debut single of her own. ‘Home’ has a pop-inspired production approach, transcended with R&B-nodding vocals and a grime-influenced string of beats.

Glynne’s vibrancy is expressed through a joyous release of emotion, enhanced through poppy yet orchestral melodies. The string additives create a well-rounded sound, too.

The official music video for ‘Home’ communicates less a sense of vibrancy and more of a black and white approach to minimalism. Most notably, the video encapsulates the playfulness that pop music can really provide through the flashes of color and constant twist of temporality.
