Watch: Kwes Unveils ‘Rollerblades’ Video

Everything about Kwes’ Warp debut ‘ilp.’ is understated. Songs that could in another environment tread pop territory are instead muted, subtle to the bone. And it’s a tack that runs straight through to this new ‘Rollerblades’ video. The producer (he’s recently put his name to a Shivum Sharma track) stands motionless in a pitch-black room, backed only by a flamboyant rollerblader, dressed in a blue jumpsuit and providing the odd, hilarious backing vocal.
