Warp Records signing Kwes. is gearing up to the release of his debut ‘ilp.’ full-length. First we heard the sweet preview ‘36’, now it’s the turn of ‘cablecar’, a sprawled out 8-minute trip.
Kwes.’ layered vocals are swept up in layer upon layer of foggy instrumentation. If this ‘cablecar”s taking liftoff, it’s fighting through a thick snow-storm on the Alps.
