Watch: Laura Groves Unveils ‘Waterfalls’ Video

Dismiss it as ‘just a cover’ if you dare, but Laura Groves’ take on Paul McCartney’s ‘Waterfalls’ is a divine reminder of how a dose of something sweet can work wonders. Released as part of DEEK Recordings’ ‘Pun For Covers’ compilation, it’s a sparsely-arranged, twinkly introduction to London musician’s dreamy approach to songwriting.

Her video for ‘Waterfalls’ channels Radiohead’s ‘No Surprises’ in going for the whole singing-underwater routine. Instead of looking like it carries a death risk, however, Groves bathes under a blue light, with cameras going topsy-turvy for the ridiculously lovely song.
