Watch LAW Cover Young Fathers ‘I Heard’
Two Edinburgh talents combine, with Lauren Holt covering a 2013 Young Fathers track.
Edinburgh talents LAW and Young Fathers move around the same circles. They’re currently touring together, and the latter produced Lauren Holt’s recent EP ‘Haters and Gangsters’.
During a recent BBC Introducing session, LAW delivered a hypnotic, intense and above anything else strange cover of Young Fathers’ ‘I Heard’, taken from their Anticon release ‘Tape Two’. Vocals enter from all sides, either sampled or delivered in Holt’s spoken word.
