Watch Mac DeMarco cover Angel Olsen’s ‘Lights Out’

Two artists responsible for some of 2014’s defining releases combine here, as recently Mac DeMarco entered the A Pint of Cacophony studio for a special cover of Angel Olsen.

Building on from his own ‘Salad Days’ record, he took off on an acoustic rendition of ‘Lights Out’, a standout on Olsen’s recent ‘Burn Your Fire For No Witness’ album.

Alongside the cover, Mac also performed ‘Salad Days’’ title-track, alongside ‘Let Her Go’. “If you’re out there Angel hi, and if you’re not - hi anyway. And if I fuck this up, then I fuck it up,” he said before the cover.
