Watch Mac DeMarco perform ‘Let Her Go’ and an Angel Olsen cover in BOTV session
Performance took place behind the scenes of his London Forum show.
Back in November and ahead of his shoes becoming the most valued asset in music, Mac DeMarco played a chaotic, part-pantomime, mostly-brilliant headline show at London Forum, his biggest in the UK to date.
Before the carnage, the Canadian sat down with BOTV (promoters Bird on the Wire, who put on the show) to perform two gorgeous renditions, one being ‘Let It Go’ from his ‘Salad Days’ LP, the other being a version of Angel Olsen’s ‘Lights Out’.
Backstage at The Forum, the performance took place on 25th November. Catch up with DIY’s review of the headline show here.
This is the first ever BOTV session, the premise being that an act playing a Bird on the Wire gig will perform a track of their own, before covering another act on the roster. It arrives alongside the launch of a new BOTW website.
