Purity Ring cover ‘Better Off Alone’

The Alice DeeJay classic gets a ghostly rework.

Fresh off of the release of third album ‘WOMB’, Purity Ring are sharing a surprise cover of Alice DeeJay’s 1999 club classic ‘Better Off Alone’.

Accompanied by a video directed by Andrew Barchilon, the group say, “We have wanted to cover this song for years and it felt like it was time. It’s been an influence on how we write and feel music since the beginning, and so for all the ways that joy and longing move, the truth is out there.”

The cover comes after the pair announced that they’ve rescheduled their UK and European headline tour to next summer.

Check out the cover and full tour dates below.
