Watch Run The Jewels perform a Tiny Desk Concert

They played a trio of tracks from ‘RTJ 3’. Behind a tiny desk, of course.

Run The Jewels recently popped into the public radio hub NPR to perform for their series of Tiny Desk Concerts.

So cue Killer Mike and El-P looking a wee bit cramped behind a tiny desk (obviously), sipping on brandy and working the crowd. Across the eleven-minute performance they played three tracks from ‘RTJ 3’: ‘Talk To Me’, ‘Legend Has It’ and ‘A Report To The Shareholders’. Naturally, it was fire, and Killer Mike didn’t look like he could contain his smiles.

It’s not the first time the duo have been on NPR in recent times either. A couple of weeks back they appeared on the station’s comedy show ‘Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me’ to talk about their relationship, cat noises, and play an impromptu game of, erm, “who runs the Jews”. Okay.
