Julien Baker goes minimal for NPR Tiny Desk concert

She performed cuts from ‘Turn Out the Lights’ with violinist Camille Faulkner.

Julien Baker released her blinder of a second album - ‘Turn Out The Lights’ - last October, and now she’s taken it to NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series for a live session.

Accompanied by violinist Camille Faulkner, she performed string-adorned versions of ‘Hurt Less’, ‘Even’ and ‘Appointments’ in amongst the bookshelves.
