So much magic:
Watch Solange, Kelly Rowland and Nia Andrews record ‘A Seat At The Table’ track
They got together to record ‘Interlude: I Got So Much Magic, You Can Have It’.
On last year’s album ‘A Seat At The Table’, Solange brought
in some amazing special guests, so you could only imagine how fire it would
have been in the studio.
Well, Solange has shared a little bit of the magic by
posting a video on Instagram of herself, Kelly Rowland and Nia Andrews
recording ‘Interlude: I Got So Much Magic, You Can Have It’, one of the many
shorter skits on the album. She notes that she wrote the interlude after
recording ‘Junie’, inspired by the late Walter ‘Junie’ Morrison.
Solange said in the caption: “wanted to feel like that
feeling u get, when u warming up for the talent show in jr high school, Nia and
Kelly are too good, so I played them the demo like two times so we would still
have the learning spirit. We did 3 takes, then we all had to rush to pick up
our sons”.
