On the telly
Watch Tame Impala play ‘Love/Paranoia’ on The Tonight Show
They played the ‘Currents’ track at Panorama Festival on the weekend.
So, over the weekend Aussie faves Tame Impala played a set at New York’s Panorama Festival, where they decided to pull out a few “deep cuts” from their back catalogue.
One of those was ‘Love/Paranoia’ from ‘Currents’, which was the first time they’d ever played it live. It seems that they quite enjoyed the experience though. Taking to the telly to play as musical guests on ‘The Tonight Show’, ‘Love/Paranoia’ made yet another appearance (after host Jimmy Fallon spent a little bit seeming all emotional about how much he loved the band).
The following performance of the track was a shimmering, psych-tinged beast that brought out the most sparkling elements of the slow-burning number.
