Watch Tame Impala play new material live for the first time in California
Group gave live debuts to ‘Let It Happen’ and ‘Cause I’m A Man’.
Last night, Tame Impala played their first show for just under five months with a performance at Pomona’s Fox Theater, California.
Kevin Parker and co. used the opportunity to give live debuts to new songs ‘Let It Happen’ and ‘Cause I’m A Man’, both of which are taken from their newly-announced ‘Currents’ LP.
Fan footage has emerged of both performances. ‘Let It Happen’ takes on a funkier twist on stage, while ‘Cause I’m A Man’ furthers those smoothed-out vibes.
More details and a release date for ‘Currents’ are yet to be announced - it’ll be released later this year. Check out highlights from Tame Impala’s Fox Theater show below.
